I'm excited to invite you to join a virtual book club for Tiago Forte's new book "The PARA Method: Simplify, Organize and Master Your Digital Life", which will be released Tuesday, August 15th.
The book outlines Tiago's PARA method for personal knowledge management, which many of you may already be familiar with from his previous bestseller "Building a Second Brain." The PARA book promises to provide a practical framework and playbook for implementing the PARA system. As Tiago stated in a post on π it contains additional content compared to the PARA description in his previous book.

Here's a quick overview of the book club logistics:
We'll break the book into three sections and have a discussion session for each:
Week 1 (CW 35): Introduction and Fundamentals (pages 1-76)
Week 2 (CW 36): The PARA Playbook (pages 77-136)
Week 3 (CW 37): Deep Dives and FAQs (pages 137-206)
Sessions will be up to 60 mins and held Monday or Wednesday evenings CET time. I will determine the exact session times based on availability in your application.
Participants should aim to read 10 pages per day to stay on track.
Not much more than 10 participants to keep discussions intimate.
Golden rule: Everyone has to speak. Anything you say, as tiny as it might be, is fine. Your perspective and question may spark valuable reflections from others.
Sessions will be recorded to allow participants to review and extract insights, even with cloud-based AI. These recordings will not be shared publicly.
My goal is to create an intimate, productive discussion around the core concepts and insights from Tiago's new book. I hope this virtual book club will help us learn together and hold one another accountable as we try implementing PARA in our own knowledge management systems.
